Zoning Sanitary

• Issue permits and oversee the installation of private owner waste treatment systems (POWTS) 
• Collect and maintain sanitary database for landowners and installers 
• Distribute pertinant information to landowners concerning sanitary system operation and maintenance 
• Administer the State's 3-year inspection requirements on all sanitary systems.

• Issue sanitary permits  
• Oversee sanitary inspection programs  
• Inspect installations  
• Review soil tests  
• Maintain and administer sanitary ordinance to State standards  
• Administer Wisconsin Fund (grants for failing systems)
